Retreats and ConferencesWe welcome United Methodist Church groups from throughout our Conference and beyond, many of whom return year after year. We've hosted men's and women's groups, youth retreats, and family camps. Our sites are also open to other non-profit groups. We're happy to work with you to make your retreat a success!
Summer Camp at Quinipet and OlmstedFrom second graders to high school students, camp brings new experiences, creating friendships and memories that last a lifetime. Our unique locations provide outdoor adventures from sailing, swimming, outdoor cooking, arts, hiking, and rock climbing. We offer day and overnight camping at Quinipet and Olmsted. Join us this summer and experience God's love in our welcoming Christian communities.
Family CampingThere's no better place to spend quality family time than at one of our camp and retreat locations. Quinipet offers an annual summer Family Camp; Spring Into Action, a volunteer Memorial Day work weekend at no charge; and Beach Week, an opportunity for families to have all the fun of summer camp--together! See the Quinipet Camp & Retreat Center website for more information.
Choose rustic camping in your own tent or more glamorous camping in our large, wood floored tents or your own RV. Daily programs, hay rides, canoes, kayaks, and rowboats are available to use for no additional fee. Fishing equipment, cooking gear, games, books and sporting equipment are available to borrow. Guests can participate in as many or as few activities as they like. Enjoy this all-inclusive camping experience. See the Kingswood Campsite website for more information. |

NYAC Camping & Retreat Ministry Board of Directors Shares Inclusivity Statement
In light of the recent 2019 Special Session of General Conference, the NYAC Camping & Retreat Ministry Board of Directors would like to clearly state that we fully accept all persons identifying as LGBTQIA+ into the life, ministry, and activities of our camp, and of our sister campsite, Kingswood.
Whether you are staff, camper, clergy, volunteer, or visitor, we welcome you!
As with the church, we are a work in progress and going forward we are taking steps to make our camps more inclusive settings for all people.
And please know that we are always open to suggestions for improvement. Thank you for your openness, understanding, and support of our camps.
